All Inclusive Resorts Dominican Republic

The Heartbeat of the Caribbean

Thinking of All Inclusive Resorts Dominican Republic? This country referred to as the heartbeat of the Caribbean occupies the Eastern two-thirds of the Isla Hispaniola. The Western part of the island is occupied by Haiti. All Inclusive Resorts Dominican Republic is becoming a major focus of our business because, more and more, that’s where our clients want to go.

We’re not exactly sure why, but it could be the hundreds of miles of white sand beaches and turquoise Caribbean waters that create a virtual ocean playground or because of the great reputation that the All Inclusive Resorts Dominican Republic industry has built up over the years. Whatever the reason, Paradise Awaits!

Getting There

The Dominican Republic is probably the most accessible of Caribbean destinations, just a hop skip and a jump from anywhere in Europe or North America. Every one of the major travel destinations (Punta Cana, La Romana, Samana) all have their own international airports now and receive daily International and Charter flights. You’ll be sipping a Rhum punch in paradise before you know it.

Santo Domingo has a modern state of the art airport that receives hundreds of flights a day from all over the world. The city is also relatively close to most of the tourist destinations. Either flying into or taking a day-trip to Santo Domingo from other Dominican All Inclusive Resorts is a great way to add adventure to your Dominican holiday.

Santo Domingo

colonial-santo-domingo

Santo Domingo, the Capital City, is the oldest city in the new world. Discovered by Christopher Columbus’ brother in 1498, Santo Domingo was the first Capital of Spanish America and saw the first University, hospital and Cathedral of the New World.

This modern port city has a booming economy and is home to great night-clubs, restaurants and shopping areas. However, The Colonial Area of Santo Domingo has preserved the past beautifully. Some of those 16th century buildings have been preserved beautifully and are on full display for the modern tourist.

A walking tour of the area will reveal fortresses and palaces. You will walk through the first Cathedral in America and even the first court of Law. Stand in the spots where icons Ponce de Leon and Rodrigo de Bastidas lived and planned their conquests of the New World.

The Colonial Area now houses museums, galleries, restaurants and studios, but there is no more romantic spot. Walking through one of the courtyards will bring you back half a millennium, at least for a moment.

Dominican Food

All Inclusive Resorts Dominican Republic are know for their gourmet cuisine. They realized early on that the way to a tourist’s heart is through their stomach. Visitors will find a wide variety of cuisine to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.

Whether you decide to eat all of your meals at the resort or venture out to one of the local restaurants, you won’t be disappointed with Dominican food.

Whether you want to fill your days with activities or enjoy everything that this magical island has to offer.
